Visioning - Vision Casting - Visioneering
Proverbs 29:18a (KJV) - Where there is no vision, the people perish.
Description:
A believer without a vision is limiting God’s glory by not setting the potential for God to show up and show off.
Setting a vision for the future is essential for both individuals and organizations. Far too many people set goals before they have a vision and that’s like climbing the ladder of success but propping it up on the wrong wall. A clear vision provides the framework for actions, convictions, determination, significance, and direction.
As you coach someone around their vision you will help them find their own methods for overcoming the obstacles that hold them back. A quality vision is the catalyst to keep going when times are tough. Helping your client’s vision will help them to focus and it creates a purpose that becomes an ongoing measurement in their life.
Most of us live our lives by accident—we live as it happens. Fulfillment comes when we live our lives on purpose. ~ Simon Sinek
It’s important for you to help your clients to have a personal vision before they jump into certain jobs, careers, or areas of life. A well-defined vision sets the groundwork for the spiritual growth necessary for an individual to move into the next phase of their life.
Visioning is not about where your client is today, but where can they logically, honestly, and with focused effort, be in the future. You’re coaching the pathway, guide, and process for change that needs to happen in your client’s life. You’ll be helping them to change their circumstances as they build pictures and dreams of their future.
A believer’s vision is the recognition of the unique role he or she plays at this time in history.
