Snapshot of Services
I specialize in helping leaders in health care, higher education, and in faith-based ministries increase their productivity and enhance their effectiveness in managing change at work, home and in their personal lives.
More About Your Work
I come to each coaching encounter prepared to ask relevant questions and make observations that will evoke your awareness of self-limiting beliefs, personal narratives, and unproductive activities that prevent you from achieving your potential and optimal performance. This will enable you to clarify your personal goals, identify available resources and new strategies for overcoming challenges, and to develop realistic action plans that will lead to your desired results. My goal will be to enhance your productivity, quality of life, and your resilience in a way that is consistent with your beliefs and values.

Coaching involves a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires and empowers people to maximize their personal and professional potential and performance. The process is designed to help people dramatically improve their outlook on work and life, while improving their leadership skills and unlocking their potential. Some possible reasons for you to pursue coaching with me:

• You perceive a gap in knowledge, skills, or resources required to achieve your goals
• You would like to accelerate progress in one or more areas of life
• You lack clarity about options or choices to make
• You feel like achieving success has started to become problematic
• Work or life may be out of balance
• Your core strengths need to be identified along with how best to use them
• You are facing changes or transitions

What do clients say?
• Richard was able to ask the right questions that led to greater self-reflection, allowing for positive change. He also helped me stay focused on what was most important.
• I have found myself growing as a leader and much of the clarity has come from the questions and insight Richard gives. He does everything he can to ensure that the experience is at a “ten.”
• My attitude towards issues I wanted to work on and improve became more positive. I found myself seeking opportunities in the small and sometimes not so small problems in each day.
• Richard provided great support and guidance in different perspectives of my transition: academics, leadership, service, family, financial and even faith.
