MEETING ETHICAL GUIDELINES AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Ethics has never been more needed or more talked about than now. This presentation will review both the CCNI and the ICF ethical codes.  Emphasis will be placed on the thought behind the new emphasis on these codes.  Sound Christian morality will take care of most ethical dilemmas.  The key to good ethical behavior is right relationships with one’s client and one’s professional community.


Learning Objectives:

1. Basic review of the CCNI and ICF definition.

2. Identify key aspects of what makes this competency so important.

3. Examples of this competency in action at the PCC level


This core competency event offers one (1) hour of continuing education.  If unable to attend this event in person, members may access and view the replay and complete the survey/quiz to receive one (1) hour of continuing education.

Your Presenter:

Dr. Michael J. Marx is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF), a Certified Professional Life Coach (PCCI) and a Certified Professional Christian Coach (CCNI) specializing in executive, business, and life coaching.  He has devoted himself to the advancement of the coaching industry and to its coaches and clients, and places emphasis on the ethics of the coaching practice.  His enthusiasm for the subject brought him to write Ethics and Risk Management for Christian Coaches (2016).  Michael leads the ICF Global Ethics Community of Practice, and teaches Ethics for Professional Christian Coaching Institute.
