As a coach, you bring out the best in your client when you create a safe, supportive environment. In such a setting, the client will be more willing to engage in intentional, focused growth. We will consider specific ways that you as a coach can achieve such an environment in partnership with the client.

In this event, we will:

  • Identify the coach's role in co-creating a safe, supportive environment.
  • Discuss the client's role in co-creating a safe, supportive environment.
  • Consider appropriate boundaries in the coach/client relationship.
  • Share ways to help the client become more self-aware and open.


YOUR PRESENTER


Dr. Ircel Harrison is Coaching Coordinator for Pinnacle Leadership Associates and directs their Summit Coach Training program. He holds an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation and has coached over 1000 hours. He is also a supplemental associate professor of missional theology at Central Seminary in Shawnee, Kansas. His most recent book is ARE YOU READY? LEADING IN A WORLD OF VOLATILITY, UNCERTAINTY, COMPLEXITY, AND AMBIGUITY (Pinnacle Leadership Press).
