Should we approach the subject of faith in coaching calls? What a loaded question!

There is a delicate tension in being purposeful about the role of faith and maintaining the boundaries of professional practice. Some coaches are reticent to mention issues of faith unless client directed. Others are reticent to coach without exploring the context of faith. Obligations to faith and to professional practice draw dividing lines of thought and application.

Clearly there are no black and white answers.

Learn how one coach manages this tension and how a spiritual dimension can influence the kinds of issues and questions the coach and client may explore.

In this special CCN event, I will be interviewing Nick Wright. Nick is the author of Spirituality and Coaching, an article published in the British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy Journal in July 2013. Nick addresses some practical ways a coach can approach the subject of spirituality and help a client gain clarity.
