LiveDEVOTION: You Do All Things Well

The lush woodland and verdant hills of the West Country – in England that is – are a constant inspiration.  Driving back from a lunchtime meeting I found myself meditating on these words: “You do all things well.”  It was clear that they didn’t apply to me, so I focused instead on the nature of God (that’s a big topic for an afternoon drive in the country), the truth that He is always at work, and that every aspect of that work is perfect. 

Moses said it well in Deuteronomy 32 verse 4:

“The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just;
A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and upright is He.

Chewing over each word or phrase of a scripture verse is one approach to biblical meditation which many find helpful.  Letting the truth soak in often makes way for the Holy Spirit to apply the words to our hearts as the meaning becomes familiar.  Join other Christian coaches on November’s Live Devotion call to take time to meet with God and each other as we meditate on this scripture, share our insights, and speak back to the Lord the truths we discover.
