Ircel Harrison, D.Min, ACC, will take you on a journey to answer the question, "How can coaching become a part of the church's DNA?" You will learn ten best practices for creating a coaching culture in the life of a congregation.
Your Presenter
Ircel Harrison is Coaching Coordinator for Pinnacle Leadership Associates, an organization that provides coaching, consulting and training for churches and not-for-profit organizations. He is also a supplemental faculty member in Ministry Praxis for Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee, KS, and serves as their consultant for mentoring and coaching.
He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Mississippi, his master of divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his doctor of ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has done additional study at Middle Tennessee State University in organizational development and at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Missional church leadership.
Ircel is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and received the Certified Professional Life Coach designation from the Professional Christian Coaching Institute. His ministry experiences include campus ministry, local church service, and denominational leadership.
He is the co-author of Disciple Development Coaching: Christian Formation for the 21st Century and the author of For Such a Time as This: Aligning Church and Leadership for Missional Ministry. He blogs at www.barnabasfile.blogspot.com.
He and his wife, Rita, live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. They have three children, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
