Event description
Dr. Michael Marx and Dr. Walt Hastings will focus on ICF’s core competency #1: Demonstrates Ethical Practice.
How do I demonstrate ethical practice in coaching? This webinar will center on the things a coach does to treat the client well during the coaching conversation. Michael and Walt will give solid ethical examples of good and bad practices during the coaching conversation. This could mean being sensitive to the client, using appropriate language, and referring the client to another professional. Participants will gain an understanding of how good ethics shows up.
In this event, you will:
- Learn the essentials of ethics in the coaching conversation
- Become more aware of confidentiality issues
- Know when to refer
- Embrace being appropriately sensitive
Join us for this interactive event to learn and practice this important core competency.
This core competency event is pending approval for one (1) hour of ICF/CCNI continuing education.
