CCN Member Call - Transitions

Key signs of a healthy organization include its ability to grow and adjust to market conditions. Such is true with CCN. God has been faithful to provide opportunities over the years that have led to our organization's growth, quality of service and impact in the industry.

Another opportunity is before us now. CCN is officially embarking on a transition to 501c3 status. This is an exciting move that will help stabilize our presence in the industry as a 3^rd party, objective credential issuing association. It will provide oversight, governance and the personnel resources needed to further our mission and objectives.

Leading this transition is CCN's new president, Dr. Michael J. Marx, PCC.

Your Hosts:

Dr. Marx is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF). He has an MBA from The University of Louisiana, and an EdD from Regent University. In addition to coaching corporate leaders, pastors, and aspiring coaches, he also teaches college level international business and finance. He and Joy, his wife of 30 years, live in Alaska and enjoy dogsledding and skiing.
 

Marcie Thomas is the current Executive Director of the Christian Coaches Network. Marcie was introduced to the world of Christian coaching in 2006. Since that time she’s worked with various leaders in the industry and in 2012 was asked to take a lead role in supporting Christian coaches through the efforts of CCN. Marcie has a bachelor’s in psychology and has earned her ACC, BCC and CCC. She is also the Pastor of Lenox Community Fellowship, a Full Gospel, non-denominational church in Lenox, Missouri.
